Quiet and cozy (but hot) apartment perfect for 2 people

Perfect for 2 people. It’s in a quiet neighborhood about 40 min walking from the center and close to public transport. The shower works well and the host left coffee for the morning which was a nice touch. In fact, the host is very attentive and helpful.

The bed is a bit worn in and not exactly the most comfortable, although I’ve slept in worse. Also, the summers in Toulouse are scorching and the place has no fan. The host recommended opening the windows to generate air flow which works but then anyone in the street can see directly into the apartment. To improve, I’d recommend the host at least purchase a standing fan so guests feel more comfortable.

Il faisait un peu trop chaud la première nuit et la deuxième nuit le propriétaire nous a ramené un ventilateur.

Expérience affreuse !

Communication au début avec l'hôte rapide.

Je ne suis restée que quelques heures, juste le temps de trouver un autre logement tellement l’expérience a été horrible. Dès l’arrivée, le sentiment d’insécurité est total : portail ouvert, porte de l’immeuble ouverte, et porte de l’appartement qui ressemble davantage à une porte de placard qu’à une vraie porte d’entrée. En tant que femme seule, je ne me suis absolument pas sentie en sécurité. Je déconseille très fortement ce logement à une femme seule : l’insécurité y est évidente. À l’ouverture de la porte, une odeur de cigarette froide absolument écœurante vous prend immédiatement à la gorge, au point d’en avoir la nausée. L’air était irrespirable. Impossible d’aérer correctement : le volet est cassé, resté à moitié ouvert, et le logement est en rez-de-chaussée sur un jardin où des hommes passaient en criant au téléphone juste devant la fenêtre. Comme le volet est cassé et qu’il n’y a pas de rideau, impossible de rester à l’intérieur sans être exposée aux regards. On se sent observée en permanence. Le logement est extrêmement vétuste, bien plus que ce que laissent penser les anciens commentaires positifs. Honnêtement, je suis très surprise de ces avis, car je peux assurer qu’il n’y fait pas bon vivre. Tout donne une impression de saleté et de malaise. La literie est de très mauvaise qualité, premier prix, et l’ensemble était tellement repoussant que je n’osais toucher ni les murs, ni les toilettes, ni imaginer prendre une douche ou me glisser dans les draps. C’était une expérience affreuse. Un logement sordide, oppressant, insalubre dans son ressenti, et surtout profondément anxiogène. J’ai contacté l’hôte pour lui faire part de mon expérience. Au départ, il répondait rapidement, mais depuis ce message, plus aucune réponse.

Le studio est placé dans un quartier calme. L'équipement est complet. Le relationnel avec nôtre hôte a été très agréable. Malgré la canicule nous n'avons pas souffert de la chaleur. Si nous devions revenir à Toulouse nous saurions où loger.
