White Lilyum Hotel - All Inclusive

All inclusive hotel, good food options, super close to the sea, fair price.

The rooms are a bit old and the location is further away from more vibrant Kemer area, but for the price it was worth it.

Struttura bellissima a 500mt dal mare, staff gentilissimo e performante, molto accorti verso i clienti, cibo a buffet eccezionale e molto variegato, servizi di collegamento aeroportuale (taxi) ottimo.

Pulizia camere poco efficiente, per una struttura 4 stelle, pulizie eseguite con poca attenzione specialmente nel bagno.

Customer service, especially from bar staff (Kerem, was 10/10 alongside his colleagues). There was a Customer Relations Manager (I think that's what he was) who tried to ensure to best of his ability we were looked after. The swimming pool was great, although the water for the slides was not on throughout the day (disappointing for kids). The gym was pretty good but basic. Cocktails were surprisingly good.

The area outside the hotel had scammers and we unfortunately faced some hostility in the area. The hotel did react, supposedly, as they put security on our beach. Our beach however, was just a wash with sunbeds and not much actual beach space. The food was mediocre at best and with almost zero options for children. Not much meat for meat eaters, especially considering the price. I enjoyed the deserts and vegetable options but not really work £2k + for just 6 nights. The TV was only in Turkish. The hotel guests were primarily from Eastern Ukraine, Russia and Belarus. For my English girlfriend and her kids (I am of Croatian descent), they felt a lot of passive aggressive behaviour aimed at them. Lots of angry stares pretty much through 90% of hotel guests. As a Croatian I experienced more friendship and better interactions but even myself, I was shocked at the lack of manners and politeness from a majority of hotel guests. Although the hotel staff were majority very nice, not all however, it could not possibly make up for the bulk of rude and I guess low level hostilities from guests. Discussions with one Eastern European lady in the hotel alongside my English girlfriend said they also felt uneasy by some of the Turkish guests in the hotel, something in the way they stared at them. All of the above can certainly highlight some complex cultural differences but unfortunately it doesn't make for a good holiday, irrespective of how nice hotel staff could be. A shame. In respect to being all inclusive, alcohol was only available until 10pm and ice creams by the pool for only one hour a day. Most of the entertainment was aimed at the more Eastern European contingent, alongside language capabilities of the staff. It would feel for many Western guests that they would be outsiders in respect to other hotel guests and very strongly. Lastly, Booking.com allocated two triple rooms for us, I.e one double bed and two singles.
