The condo itself matched the listing photos, and the location was excellent. Being within walking distance of the beach was a huge plus, and the property has several pools, so they never felt overcrowded. Our family really enjoyed those amenities
Unfortunately, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The king bed had reddish-brown stains on the sheets that appeared to be blood, which was very unsettling. The shower curtain in the king bathroom had a large brown stain that immediately gave me the ick and made me question how thoroughly the bathroom had been cleaned. The pull-out bed already had sheets on it that appeared to have dirt spots, and we also noticed stained bedding and pillows.
I understand that stains don’t always mean something is dirty, but when you’re paying for a vacation rental, guests should feel confident that the linens and bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. The location and amenities were great, but the housekeeping standards need significant improvement. If cleanliness had matched the rest of the property, I would have had a much better experience.
