It was quite cheap so we didn’t expect a lot. With attention to a few details it would get a higher score.

Great location. Handy for the shops, cafes and the beach. Bathroom was fine. It had a good shower. Booking in was easy.

Kettle on/off switch was broken so we couldn’t use it. The cooker smelt of gas even when not in use so I turned the supply valve off. Blanket for the sofa bed was damp and smelly - a clean one was provided promptly on request.

Cheap and noisy apartment in a great location

The location is great, and getting into the apartment was quite easy. The kitchen has all the basic appliances, like coffee machine, microwave, fridge, washing machine, etc. The bed was comfortable enough.

The windows are extremely flimsy and provide zero noise protection. Given that the apartment is on a VERY busy street, it's extremely loud all day and night long. Sleeping with all that noise was a real challenge. The overall state of the apartment is very poor. There are broken chairs and shelves almost falling off. There were ants all over the place and one dead cockroach in the living room. I would not book this place again.

Unreasonable host - worst experience on book.com

Ok price, good location. But grade F for the host.

The worst host ever. We had to leave and relocate from the apartment due to unlivable conditions, there was a flood cause by the faulty AC. The host offered a tech to fix the ac, but the walls, floors, curtains and bed sheets were wet. I wouldn't complain since these things can happen but the host refused to waive the cancellation fee. Totally unreasonable and unprofessional.
