We stayed here for 9 nights with our family and it felt like home straight away.
The villa itself is beautifully decorated throughout, really nice chill deck area (with hammock of course) and a full kitchen.
Beds were really soft and comfortable.
Girls loved the pool and pool hammocks (we did too!).
The location was really good to chill and relax but close enough to get a quick Grab ride to anywhere we wanted (or eat in).
And finally Meg our host was super friendly and helped us organize a few things when needed. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Very highly recommended.

Baksaei is your rural retreat away from home, only 5km to the city centre, grabbing a Tuk Tuk is easy and very affordable. Meg, our host, is amazing! Nothing was a problem for Meg, happy to assist you with anything that you may need to ensure your stay was as memorable as ours. After a day's sightseeing, it was so lovely to come back to our accommodation, sit out on the expansive deck area, have a few quiet beverages listening to the chorus of the frogs from the rice paddy and watch the sun go down. We only stayed for 4 nights, wished we had booked for longer. We will definitely be back doing an extended stay next time. Superlative host, location and amenities.

Dom wyposażony jest we wszystko, czego może oczekiwać zagraniczny turysta. W pełni wyposażona kuchnia, z wszystkimi potrzebnymi urządzeniami. Jeśli oczekujecie wysokiego standardu, to jest to właściwe miejsce. Pomimo, że dom znajduje się poza centrum, po drugiej stronie rzeki, to przejazd nie zajmuje więcej niż 10 minut.
Dziękujemy Meg za piękny uśmiech i cierpliwość.

Was hat den Aufenthalt so außergewöhnlich gemacht ? Zum einem das sehr ansprechende, großzügige und voll ausgestattete Haus mit einer sehr schönen Terrasse. Westlicher Maßstab ist ohne Probleme anzulegen. Die Lage ist rein ländlich ohne jeglichen Verkehr. Zum anderen die unheimlich nette und auskunftsfreudige Gastgeberin, die durch ihren langjährigen Aufenthalt in Kambodscha etliches an Wissen und Erfahrung auf Wunsch weitergibt. Wichtig für unseren Aufenthalt war der Guide Navy, welcher uns die Möglichkeit eröffnete nicht nur die Sehenswürdigkeiten zu besichtigen sondern auch tiefere Einblicke in den Alltag und das normale Leben der Khmer zu gewähren. In den 3 Tagen ( zu kurz ! ) haben wir mehr über das Land erfahren, als in dem Rest unserer Reise. Und das will was heißen !
Vielleicht nicht so geeignet für Reisende, die mehr Pubstreets und gesellige Touristentreffen vorziehen. Hat Kampot auch zu bieten.
