just steps away from Stephansplatz U-Bahn station, also just steps away from the Alster lake, it was a very convenient location !

Despite there being some work done at the place, it felt the same as it always has, warm and friendly.

The hotel is conveniently located, but the building feels quite old and has some heating issues. We had to change rooms, and even then I needed to adjust the heating pipes during the night to keep them working. On the positive side, the staff were very helpful and accommodating. However, I was disappointed with the television, which offered about three dozen channels—all in German—and none in English, such as BBC or CNN.

The staff was outstanding. I have never had so much help. The day supervisor was unbelievable. Upon our arrival he made sure that our accommodations were met. I temporarily lost my passport and he made several calls to places we had been and put us in touch with the various consulates and embassies for an emergency passport. Fortunately I found it, but the effort on his part was very much appreciated.
