Caribe Deluxe Princess - All Inclusive

Excellent experience! Staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and the food was excellent! The beach was beautiful and very clean.

We had a great stay at the Caribe Princess, with a few issues. I’ll start with the negatives and finish on a high. I found the staff to be unhelpful/grumpy even when tipped well, although there were a few gems, it’s towards the end of their season so I imagine fatigue is kicking in a bit. As English speakers we were left out a little bit, but that’s on us for not knowing Spanish very well. The staff did their best to chat in English where they could. Hygiene was a bit of a problem, the room was very dusty & we had to call to ask for pillowcases on the first day, there were some instances of cross contamination in the buffet (handling raw chicken then immediately handing out cooked chicken with the same tongs), I received a few drinks cups with lipstick on them, and I’d often find soap/antibac dispensers empty. Not highlighted that you shouldn’t drink the tap water. Some of the public toilets didn’t have working locks. Long queues at peak breakfast/lunch hours (earlier is key). WiFi is poor but it’s nice to not be on a phone! Paid games at sports bar The renovations are very good for the type of hotel, it’s very beautiful with wildlife roaming around. The beach was great, very clean and always able to get a bed. Very comfy, large bed in room. Drinks availability good. Evening shows are great and amazing effort from the team. Restaurants were really good; Tao & Fogo stand out. Loved the coffee shop also. Great activities around the resort (minigolf/pingpong/volleyball etc.)

Very nice stay, everything was included with no surprises, probably I will add more booking for tematic dinner restaurants.
