upon arrival the staff was friendly and helpful. the hotel was located perfectly on the beach. the room was decent and the a/c took a second to figure out how to use. the only complaint would be the kitchen staff that serviced the dining area. they were not the friendless folk. we had to ask several times for items to be refilled when empty.

We loved our stay here! A special shout-out to the staff who were amazing—so friendly, helpful, and always impeccably dressed. The place is also incredibly clean, from the rooms to the rest of the hotel.
The location is absolutely perfect. It’s right in front of a big rock ("morro") that splits the beach in two. You can literally walk 10 meters to one side and have calm water for swimming, or go to the other side for great surf. Being so close to the Recreio market is a huge bonus too—it’s super convenient for getting cheap, fresh food and finding good deals on just about anything.

Great hotel close to beach and have ocean views. Nearby has many restaurants. The staff are amazing. The only downside is the mosquitos which are everywhere…but it is a great hotel overall
