About this house rental
This 5 bedroom 3.5 bath home is new to the market. Be one of the first to enjoy this incredible waterfront home. The expansive views might make you think you are at the beach, Screened in decks allow you to truly enjoy the most this property has to offer. Bring your boat and tie up to the large dock or just enjoy the top deck to relax with the family. With 1 king bed, 4 queen beds, and 2 bunk beds, there's plenty of space for everyone to relax and unwind. The open floor plan of the main level allows your whole party to gather in one area. The modern kitchen has all you need for those unforgettable meals. The relaxing sunroom (my wife's favorite room) allows you to unwind, read a book, drink your coffee or just gaze out over the open water. There is so much more we could say but we will let the pictures do the rest of the talking.

This home was beautiful! I gave it a four star rather than five for very few things - some not the fault of the home. Just rating it to my needs. The interior of the home was spotless and beautifully appointed - except for the amount of toilet paper. It was listed as an amenity, but not really supplied for a family of nine. The screened porches - which were really appreciated - weren't as clean as they could have been. Especially the one off the main bedroom. The second story dock was also in need of a thorough cleaning, & one of the couches on the dock was broken and not usable. There was a photo of an outdoor swing that was not usable. It was down on the ground, not anchored to stay up. The ceilings were very high, causing there to be extra stairs indoors. I have very bad knees, so the additional steps, inside and out, caused me to not walk around as freely as I would have liked. (My problem, not the home.) Also this home is down a few not well-maintained roads and a little farther from town than I would have liked. The last full day there, the city had the road completely torn up, making it impossible for us to leave the house. Disappointing being we saved going 'antiquing' until that last day. This was not the problem of the home, but a miscommunication of the city. The home was beautiful, comfortable, loved the screened porches, accommodated nine very easily, very easy to communicate with the host & the view of the lake was unbeatable! We all had a very nice time.

Location, views , dock and inside space was excellent. Plenty of beach towels & regular towels. The decor and floors are beautiful. We were a group of 7 (4adults & 3 children)and everyone had plenty of space to enjoy and relax. There are two refrigerators one on main floor & one on lower level.We rented pontoon and kept it on outside of dock. If you trailer a boat and keep trailer there it could be tricky.Inside house was decently clean but the outside porches were covered in pollen, dirt and spider webs. Brian was helpful in bringing us a broom, mop and blower to remove enough to not track it inside. Spent over an hour cleaning outdoor furniture, floors and removing spider webs. Was informed cleaning people are not responsible for outside area. Would rent again if we were not responsible for cleaning the 3 porches.

Our stay was amazing!! The house has been updated beautifully and the pictures on the listing don’t do it justice. The lake view is breathtaking from the house, and the private dock is a little slice of heaven! Our property manager was so nice and helpful. We’re from CA and stayed for the weekend to go to Talladega. The only thing we were not expecting were the scorpions! There were 10 (we counted) LIVE scorpions on the first floor that we found our first night there, and found many more dead ones. They were very little and not harmful but something to be aware of for our next trip to the South. Nonetheless, lovely lovely stay and a beautiful lakeside home! Would absolutely book again. The nearby downtown area is so cute too, the little coffee shop was our favorite treat!
