The people working there were super nice and let us keep our backpacks there for the day. The room was cozy and had a lovely little balcony.
It was pretty busy, lots of talking and party outside on the street, but we were given earplugs so it didn’t bother us too much.

We loved the upcycling ; vintage CRT TV with remote, old but totally functional furniture keeping it real and the price real: you can't do better than this place for the price and location!
Huge room, easy keyless entry, big towels, a balcony, even the bathroom had a huge door window.
Around the block is a pedestrian street with clubs and bars. Despite that and no air-conditioning, our street was still unbelievably quiet for where we were: a block away from the São Bento train station. Our walk there the next morning took us by several very good bakeries And a beautiful church
