Mr Tri and his family were wonderful and so helpful. The whole house was so light and airy.
Not much. I managed to get some peace, quiet and rest. I feel like I am friends with the Tri family now. Laundry was free.

Close to the Palace on the map (but it is only accessible via bridges, so the actual distance is much longer, so a motorbike or taxi is mostly inevitable).
Gentle view from the balcony of the Wall and a bit of nature.
The host provided steamed rice while I was cooking, which was much appreciated.
The blanket in the closet was uncleaned and smelled strongly of mothballs, which I couldn't use.
I always read all or most reviews on booking.com before making a booking. According to those, this homestay should've been a quiet place. But I had to hear high-volume sounds - morning hens, frogs, cows, etc.
A mild push for a nice review. So here are my 2 cents: don't try to compete with resorts, and back to basics and be more frank. That will go further than anything else. Seriously.
Recommended for backpackers who are new to Southeast Asia.

A little out of town but grab v easy distance into town, bed a little hard but adequate
$$$$
