We turned up to find the place we booked was full as someone staying decided to extend their stay. No matter, we were taken next door - also property owned by the family - and we stayed there.
Both places are great. Simple, rustic, no frills. Very basic. But comfortable, good WiFi, clean and right on the beach.
If you’re considering going to ocam ocam, do it. You won’t regret it. We hired a bike from angel in Coron. The drive there was fine. The last km is a dirt track. Be careful. But don’t miss this place. It’s utterly beautiful, charming, authentic and a slice of life before tourism changed the world for the worst. It’s the perfect place to escape the crowds. It was just us and a few others staying at the beach. It was idyllic
Sadly we had some inconsiderate numpties turn up and party all night. When you’re staying in a wooden shack you hear it all. So they got a piece of my mind at 2:30am when I had enough.
I would have appreciated the owners dealing with this, especially as they told them to turn music off at 10pm. Other nights it was peaceful.

Lieve behulpzame host, gezellig sfeer in het dorp en fantastische locatie aan het strand. Dikke aanrader als je een paradijselijke plek zoekt!

Bungalow sur la plage chez l'habitant.
Bonne nourriture.
Notre hutte était la plus belle
Drap et serviette propres.
Le lit 120 cm est trop petit pour 2 personnes.
Le weekend, les voisins louent leur bungalow pour faire la fête, impossible de dormir. Elle nous a relogé ailleurs.
Les 3 autres Huttes ne sont pas agréables.
Le jardin est sale. Poubelle, déchets...
