About this cabin rental
Relax at this charming and unique getaway in Wedowee boasting 3 inviting bedrooms with 1 queen bed and 2 king beds. The cozy space includes 2 bathrooms with showers/1 tub, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. With amenities like a washing machine, kayak, gas fireplace and fire pit, hammock, 6 USB C/USB charging ports (bring cords!), porch swings, starter Keurig coffee/filters, and WiFi, guests can relax and feel right at home. Each bedroom has a sleep machine to block background noise, and blackout shades are in the primary bedroom. You will travel one mile down a dirt road to our property. Surrounded by trees, you have privacy to enjoy the numerous outdoor sitting areas. While no views of the lake, access is 300 yards down the dirt road for fishing or kayaking. Bring the boat and water toys! There’s plenty of room to park a boat/trailer. The treehouse, separated by a walkway to the main house, is perfect for adults wanting a private getaway or older kids wanting to stay up playing provided games. It tends to gently sway at times, just like a real treehouse! Rest assured it is perfectly safe for you to enjoy. (SAFETY NOTE- Do not let children play in the crawl spaces on the sides of treehouse. Boards are being stored there and are not nailed down, making it a falling hazard. Also, the slate walkways are slippery in the rain. Please use caution. )

One points to the entrance, one to the treehouse, and one under the treehouse area. These are for guest safety and to ensure house rules are being followed.
The lake levels drop mid October through April, and the treehouse sink is disabled for winterizing from Dec-March.

We had the best time staying at the tree house! The rooms and beds were quite comfortable. The outside swings and firepit were a hit with my son. Having the extra space of the treehouse was nice for my father who came along for the trip. Everything was very clean the host was great at responding and helping coordinate fishing questions. The lake was nice and very relaxing. Overall we could not have been happier!

The place was super cute!!! If your looking for a peaceful get away this is the place to be, but definitely plan around any bad weather, we woke up Saturday and Sunday morning with no power or water that wasn’t fixed till 5. We also didn’t know it was on a dirt road so definitely bring a truck and not a car.
