Sehr nette Gastgeber! Die Unterkunft liegt abseits, die Gastgeber sorgen aber für alles. Man wird zur Wasserstadt gebracht und auch abgeholt. Essen wird frisch zubereitet. Auf Wunsch auch Schaschlik der sehr lecker ist. Preise für Essen und Getränke sehr gut. Super Aussicht. Abends wurde eine Feuerschale angezündet, super Erlebnis. Lasst euch von dem Weg zur Unterkunft nicht abschrecken, es lohnt sich!

Il lodge si trova in una posizione tranquilla e panoramica, proprio sotto la muraglia di Simatai. Il proprietario ci ha riservato una calorosa accoglienza e ci ha fornito informazioni utili per il trekking sulla muraglia. Ci ha anche aiutato ad organizzare gli spostamenti per la muraglia e la stazione di Gubeiku. La stanza era ampia, pulita e fornita di tutto il necessario e la cena e la colazione sono stati eccellenti: cucina casalinga a base di prodotti locali. È stata senza dubbio la notte più piacevole che abbiamo passato durante il viaggio, ci è dispiaciuto solo di non essere potuti rimanere di più!

A hidden gem and exactly the Great Wall experience I was hoping for. Quiet, peaceful, and away from the crowds, it was the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the wilder sections of the Wall. The breakfast was hearty and delicious, and the fresh organic fruit and vegetables were a real highlight.
Dominic was a fantastic host — welcoming, attentive, and incredibly helpful while still giving guests plenty of space.
The cabin had everything I needed and felt perfectly suited to the mountain setting. Comfortable, cosy, and just the right amount of space for a memorable stay.

L’endroit est absolument magnifique, perdu au milieu de nul part, à une vue sur les montagnes et derrière une vue sur une partie de la muraille très sauvage.
À 40-50 min de la partie de la muraille de Chine de Jinshanling, le staff est très serviable et accueillant, il est possible de s’organiser avec eux pour les trajets (moyennant finance bien sûr). Il est également possible de manger sur place avec une cuisine faite minute.
C’est calme, apaisant et très relaxant.
C’est très qualitatif, mais cher comparé aux alentours.
