Private rooms were good for location and close to bus stop. Bit outdated but did the job for a late night sleep. Tang was amazing and communicative - helped me with my laundry even with a quick turnaround!
Hostel dorm had no locks on the luggage containers or doors - no AC only fans.

The guys that work here are absolute sweethearts and went above and beyond trying to fix problems - and there were many, though I did extend my stay beyond the initial reservation. I also like the area, close to the night market, city market, and bus station, compared to the more expensive touristy area around Sun Plaza - about a 15-minute walk away - full of foreigners. Otherwise, there are so many unlisted places to stay in this area.
I was looking for a place to recover after the 4 Day Ha Giiang Loop and to catch up on work. I changed rooms after the first night, from back of the house to a front room, for stronger WiFi signal, but with it came all the street noise. The rooms are not as fresh as appearing in the glossy photos. They could also use a good deep cleaning beyond the daily whatever. The electrical outlets are old, plugs fit loosely, and my laptop would barely charge. In addition, there were major leaks in the bathroom ceiling from overhead water pipes while showering. Again, the guys that work there did everything they could to try and accommodate me but these were things that needed a bigger fix than what they could handle.

Helpful staff, bunk beds in small rooms with wooden box around (excellent privacy for a dorm). Good bathroom in the dorms. Good lockers, even inside the wooden box. Great location. They sell decent priced food. Good motorcycle rentals. Payment can be made my card and even after stay.
No A/C in dorms. It can get extremely sweaty. There's a fan but that doesn't help much. Common areas are with A/C but uncomfortable to lay down a little and relax. Dorm electric sockets won't house EU type plug well due to design with light switches, but still passable.
