I don’t have a single bad thing to say — 10/10 across the board. The hospitality here is actually insane. I felt so looked after from start to finish. The team just kept going above and beyond in ways I didn’t expect. I stayed for quite a while, and they even reached out to me before my arrival just to check I was comfortable with the duration because of the location and limited activities, which I really appreciated. They surprised me for my birthday with a personalised cake, which honestly meant so much. And not just any cake — fresh cream, passion fruit flavoured, and absolutely divine. Such a thoughtful and memorable touch. The first time I asked for my sheets to be changed? They cleaned the entire lodge. I was asked if I had any clothes that needed washing. When there was a power cut overnight, they apologised the next day without me bringing it up. They made me food that wasn’t even on the menu, adjusted the BBQ (which is meant for two people) so I could have it solo, and were never rigid with food timings. It just felt very accommodating and human, not transactional. And the food?! Wow. Everything I had was so good. Dinner and lunch is very well portioned. They also arranged airport transfers and even gave things to help deal with bugs, which I appreciated given the setting (and there are bugs! 😂) The location is beautiful, and the accommodation looks exactly like the photos — no surprises there. It’s very spacious. I was worried about the WiFi before arriving because of the location as I had some video calls, but it held up really well. I really can’t sing the staff’s praises enough. They were so kind! This was an unrivalled experience, and I felt very, very well taken care of the entire time. One thing to be aware of — all payments (accommodation, transport and food) is taken at the end of your stay rather than on arrival, which is useful to know in advance.

Only small notes — my lodge (one of closest to the entrance) didn’t have a sofa, just a bench and some chairs. It would’ve been nice to know that beforehand, or ideally to have sofas in all lodges for that extra comfort. And there’s no full body mirror, unfortunately, which would be a useful addition.
