The price is similar to a capsule hotel/bunk bed in hostel. Comparing this place against hostels, I would say it’s a great choice if privacy and personal space is important to you. It’s 10 minutes walk away from the Lavender station and there’s quite some nice food choices around the place.
You have a card to lock your room. The facilities aren’t as fancy as some hostel, but you get to have your space to dry the towel, put your personal belongings, and open your luggages. I saw some bad reviews before booking regarding the noise and facilities, as I compared it with a hostel bunk bed based on its price, overall it’s good.
Also I could turn on my alarm clock without worrying too much comparing to a hostel when there’s only a curtain (you still need to be mindful that the wall is thin and your neighbors would still hear it).
I got waken up 3 times the first night from the noise from doors, talking, and people stepping on the stairs (which is my ceiling). It’s ok once I get used to it.

Clean, convenient, great location, easy to check in and out, host was very nice and helpful
It’s quite cramped and hard to move around, also bathrooms can be better

- Staff was very friendly, giving tips
- Self check-in is quick and easy
- Location is not too bad, close enough to the main areas of interest to be walkable (30 to Little India, 60min to downtown). Metro was nearby too
- Price was affordable
- Room was tiny, with no furniture to leave luggage on
- It was right under the stairs, and everybody were leaving their shoes at my door
- The bathroom doors were a little clunky. Everybody in the main area can hear you in the bathroom
