Just a 29-minute drive away, you can explore the stunning Greeter Falls and Blue Hole, a must-visit destination as well as many other hiking trails on the Cumberland Plateau. However, if civilization is what you seek you can find it any direction about 45 minutes away. Attend an underground concert at The Caverns in Pelham, shop or dine in Monteagle, Sewanee, Manchester, or McMinnville. Tours of the JackDaniels or George Dickle distilleries are within an hours drive. Conveniently located about an hour and a half from both Nashville and Chattanooga this cabin has everything you need for a relaxing and memorable stay.

The Banjo Bungalow was a beautiful, clean, and well kept property. It was comfortable and quiet- a perfect place to enjoy some peace with your pupper. Julie was a very informative and lovely host. I hope to return again in the fall to enjoy watching the colors change.

Loved the cabin, it was very cozy and maintained well. If you’re looking for a wooded getaway this is your place! I was able to walk the dogs down the long back road as it’s a dead end as well as up/down the long driveway everyday! The solace was wonderful!! Loved the fireplace (gas) which was relaxing and provided nice warmth. Saw deer everyday. Enjoyed sitting near the lake for hours reading a book and letting the dogs explore. My family and I went hiking at local state parks easy to drive to. Keep in mind this is probably 30 minutes from the closest store or gas station and that’s exactly what we wanted.

Everything was very neat and clean. Directions were clear and detailed. It was very cool for a few days due to temperature drop. A gas fireplace warmed the place and was very cozy. Also provided were electric heaters in the bedrooms and fleece coverlets Some spices and condiments were available. Kitchen had all needed appliances and utensils. Boat had a leak around rivet in the bottom that brought in a little water. We still enjoyed paddling the boat around the lake. Cabin had a charming feel furnished with some antique furniture. We enjoyed our week stay mostly being outdoors fishing and admiring the fall views from the porch swing!

The property was amazing! Very secluded and serene! The cabin is just that, a cabin. There is no indoor heating, just space heaters and a gas fireplace without ventilation. The first night we got there late and it was freezing. After texting with Julie I was told there is not a heater but to use the space heaters and fireplace. The space heaters would have taken long so we used the fireplace but the fumes were so bad we ended up getting sick and leaving a day early. Also the cabin was pretty dirty: cobwebs, dead bugs inside the cupboards, dirty dishes put away. The bed and couch are a bit rough too. If you are looking to go to a place and mostly be outdoors, this place is sufficient! I would only suggest it during the cold season
