Yearning for those slower days when the world seemed to pass you by and where the loudest sound came from the birds chirping, the wind blowing in the trees or the sound of a distant water falling? Well, welcome to Polly’s Place.
This sprawling 2200 sf three-bedroom, two full bath home with sleeper sofa will remind you just how refreshing a break from the normal pace of life can be. Step onto the large back deck and spend the morning sipping a cup of your favorite brew and watching the many birds who have been welcomed for many years. Grab a pair of binoculars and see how many of the visitors you can identify. At sunset, catch a few four-legged friends grazing in the woods behind the home.
Evenings are spent in the large family room sharing stories, reading books or just chilling to your favorite movie. Gather in the large dining room for a long-missed family dinner where laughter and conversation are always on the menu.
This home has been recently updated with all the comforts but still has a charm that reminds you of family getaways from the past. The layout has a split bedroom design with the master and other two bedrooms at opposite ends of the home. The master bedroom has a full en-suite with a soaker tub.
Close to town but secluded. The very large deck, living room and rec room allows families to spend time together while also providing privacy to just read a book. The dining room seats 10.
The home is designed to allow large groups to be together in spaces (inside and out) or to separate for more privacy. The home was just as described, in a quiet neighborhood with a wonderful back deck that spans the entire length of the home adjacent to the wood line. We enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to birdsong and drinking coffee in the mornings. The bathrooms were updated and the kitchen contained all necessities. I took off one star because there were no basic toiletries provided. We had brought our own shampoo/conditioner but didn’t pack body wash or soap as this seems to have become more of a staple that hosts are providing. Had to run out to the store our first morning to purchase soap before we could shower. Otherwise the home was lovely and I will definitely book again when in the area.

Dotti is an awesome host. Pollys Place was our 2nd Vrbo home we stayed at where Dotti is the host. Her homes are always decorated to be warm & inviting from the moment we walked in the door; it actually feels like our 2nd home. Dotti is also excellent at communicating with me answering all of my questions. Her homes are filled with everything you will need and we love that she is pet-friendly. We have rented from Dotti 2 times and will plan on renting from her again. Thank You Dotti!
