Large great room with a long bar separating the kitchen from the living area. Plenty of windows to look out over the decks to the water. Private wharf and deck on the water is included along with a place to clean your fish either caught off the bank or from your boat.

Very comfortable place for our mini family reunion with our two adult children. We enjoyed the large island for the buffet style meals we had. The location was perfect for families traveling from Mississippi and Pensacola to see the Lantern festival at Bellingrath gardens. Kenneth generously let us use the kayaks to paddle in the canal. We were able to use the on-site dock to launch at high tide, otherwise we would have gone to the boat launch. We are definitely coming back!

Perfect location for what we were looking for: proximity to Fowl River, Dauphin Island, Mobile Bay, and Mobile. Located in a quiet neighborhood. The tide impacts how easy it is to launch kayaks from the dock, but multiple ramps nearby. Only “issue” was we did not receive any check in instructions prior to the day of arrival. I had to initiate communication in order to find out check in and check out instructions. Other than that, no issues.

Everything was great this house is huge. I had the Bride and her girls there. It was a great time for them. They were able to do everything they wanted and needed to do. Thank you!

I would like to thank Ken for providing the nicest VRBO I have stayed at. This house was perfect for a spring break fishing trip with my son and grandson. The dock is literally steps from the back door where we caught flounder, speckled trout, crabs,and croakers. Perfect to dock the boat. First time a house has had everything I am used to having in the kitchen. There is a small full service grocery store 2 miles from the house. This area near Dauphin Island avoids the traffic and long drives I have experienced at most beach areas. We are already thinking about a next trip.
