You can't get much closer to the water than this! This property has WATER ACCESS ALL YEAR ROUND as it is on main water channel of Lake Travis. -Sandy and grassy beach area that gently slopes to the water.
-The property has a private boat dock great for fishing off.
-1 single kayak, 1 double kayak included and Lilly pad floating mat.
-The Lake shack is how Texas does tropical. The lake shack looks like a house, but setup like 2 separate units - steps are outside to get to upstairs.
-Upstairs: King Bedroom, full bedroom, kitchen and living and bathroom in upper unit
-Downstairs -King Bedroom/bath with kitchen and living

Spend time up on your MULTIPLE scenic patios & outdoor bars grilling out, drinking margaritas and enjoying the view or down by the water or on the DOCK sunbathing and swimming in lake Travis' beautiful Caribbean looking water. Fisherman: plenty of catfish, bass, tilapia, blue gill. Decor may vary slightly as we love updating the space often to keep the tropical vibes fresh and fun!

We loved staying here! The outdoor space is very large (tons of seating and hang out spaces) with shade and gorgeous water views! This is a great set up if you’re traveling with two groups since the upstairs and downstairs are connected with an outdoor staircase (two separate entrances). Both spaces have a kitchen, shared living area and a bathroom. The downstairs has a large bedroom with an attached bathroom and the upstairs has two bedrooms with a standalone bathroom. We tended to eat together at the dining table downstairs. We also enjoyed the dock where kayaks and a lily pad are provided. My brother brought his boat and had lots of success bass fishing around the dock & beyond. Jenelle was a great host…very quick to respond to our messages! We had a great family lake trip at Jenelle’s waterfront property!

Comfortable spot, quiet surrounding. The property is not near to being new as the nice photos appear. All things outdoors (including things located on the dock) needed covers awhile ago to keep them looking like the photos. Hard water makes it challenging to keep dishes clean and usable. Nice parks and quit spot just a short drive away! Very nice and responsive host!

We are already talking about our return to this house. We LOVED it. As a family of five, this was perfect. Our 3 children, 16, 12, &10, stayed in the upstairs area, while my husband and I stayed in the lower area. As people mentioned, the staircase between the two was outside, but it worked out great. Both areas have a kitchen so it would have been easy to stay independently of the other area but we chose to go back and forth. The view is magical and the house is located on a great part of the lake. We rented a boat and he was easily able to pick us up on the dock. I would be remiss not to mention the fantastic dock too! There is a Lilly pad, chairs, and it’s easy to get to from the house. Also, the grounds were perfect for our dogs to run around. Everything is gated so we never worried about them getting out. We spent an entire day sitting around the patio and dock. It was truly magical. In our entire stay, there was a single issue (that had nothing to do with owners), but they sent someone out anyway and it was fixed within an hour. I was confirming with them that the dock was accessible and they sent someone to confirm it was close enough to the shore. I appreciate this because they didn’t have to do it but they did anyway. I have no doubt here that if you need anything while you are staying at the “Shack” the owners are quick to help. We are looking forward to being back!

Everything you need is there, definitely a perfect location and pet friendly as well. We are considering a five day trip this summer at the same place.
