3 BR, 2 BA, 4 beds, 1,500 sf living area with soaring, open beam ceiling. Hardwood floor throughout. The third bedroom has been setup as a TV room with a twin size day bed and a twin-size pullout. We also provide a queen size airbed upon request.
Huge westerly-facing, covered, wrap-around lanai. Observe miles and miles of ocean, clouds, forest, and sunset. Listen to the birds sing and smell the coffee roasting from the Mountain Thunder Coffee below. The best of Hawaiian outdoor living in mild weather year-around.
Full stocked kitchen with cookware, flatware, silverware, and small appliances.
Locates at 3,000 ft elevation in the Cloud Forest, the house offers phenomenal ocean views and immersion in nature, with some noticeable different from the Kona coast:
* The temperature at the house is 10 - 20 F (5 - 10 C) lower than that on the Kona coast.
* It rains or is in the cloud more often than the coast.

Our family of four stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the location away from loud neighbors. The front porch with the sweeping view of the ocean and town below was our favorite hangout spot for a slow morning and drinking coffee. It was also nice to have beach towels and toy available for use.

This property was a well cared for home with many clever automations. The setting in the cloud forest is incredible. The property was full of lush plants and trees. The view from the Lanai was beautiful. Overall location was close to local amenities. The property owner was great about communicating with us when there were concerns with the property. Cleanup was simple and the hosts were very gracious. Would 100% stay here in the future.
