About this house rental
Enjoy this quaint cottage within walking distance of beautiful Dale Hollow Lake.
Although the cottage doesn’t offer a lake view, you’ll be extremely pleased with the convenient proximity to the Dale Hollow marina (at Cedar Hill) and its amenities. While here, take a trip back in time to 1955 and imagine the excitement within the fishing community when the Worlds Largest Smallmouth Bass was weighed in at the Cedar Hill marina.
The historical swinging bridge at Dale Hollow is within a 15 minute walking distance from the cottage. Here, you’ll find a swimming area along with picnic tables and grills. The Dale Hollow dam and Cedar Hill Marina are both within view of the swinging bridge which make the location a nice place to relax and “boat watch”!
Thinking about setting a new world record but forgot the boat? It’s not a problem. Several marinas are close by and are happy to accommodate you with one of their pontoon boat rentals. Feel free to contact me for details. We do recommend that you arrange the boat rental in advance of your arrival to secure availability.

Located in Celina, TN. between Dale Hollow Marina and Cedar Hill Marina, “Old Bass Cottage” has two bedrooms and 1.5 baths.
The first bedroom is furnished with (2) dbl beds and the second bedroom is furnished with (1) double bed and (2) twin beds.
The cottage does include all cooking utensils, bath towels and charcoal grill. Direct TV and RECENTLY UPGRADED WiFi provided.
Parking will accommodate 3 vehicles and additional boat parking is available upon request.

We will consider pets on a case by case basis and there will be an additional charge if your pet is approved. It’s important that you contact property owners and obtain approval for your furry friend before making your reservation. YOU WILL LOSE 100% OF YOUR DEPOSIT IF YOU BRING A PET WITHOUT OWNER APPROVAL.
The cottage is within a (1) minute drive to the Dale Hollow dam and the Dale Hollow fish hatchery.

The house is exactly as described…a quaint cottage. Decorated tastefully with the fisherman in mind. Kitchen had cookware, 2 coffee makers and plenty of utensils. It was clean and very comfortable. The owners were very responsive to questions prior to checkin and during our stay. Parking in front of the house is tricky with a fishing boat but we made it work. The house is located close to cedar hill marina and made for a quick easy trip to launch the boat at Pleasant grove recreational area. The waters of Dale Hollow lake are so clear and beautiful. We hiked over the swinging bridge and found a cave with a picnic table! Everyone we encountered was friendly and the park restroom facilities were very clean. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants to be close to boat ramp and recreational area. Only recommendation is to be sure to bring food to cook for meals after long day in hot summer sun. Our stay did not include weekend days so the bbq place was closed. There are gas stations within 10-15min driving that sell drinks, food and bait. We’re not much into fast food, but there are several places approx 20-30min from house.

Amazing little place! We came to spend most of our time on the water, so it was great for us for dinner, breakfast, grilling, and just hanging out in the evenings! We would definitely stay again, and the hosts were super communicative through the whole process with any questions that we had! For the price of this little place versus one right on the water, we definitely would book this place again. Close to the recreation area for swimming and fishing, and close to the marina for boat rentals!
