This comfortable and refined apartment is perfect for your holidays in Porto!
Upon arriving at the apartment from exploring the city, you will relax on the sunny terrace enjoying a Porto wine, against the background of the beautiful view of the “Duques” district with its tall trees.
The apartment is located in an Art Nouveau style building of Porto. Its restoration work is the result of our commitment to this family project.
On the entrance floor you will find a lounge where you can prepare your drink (we provide drinks to our guests), choose a book from the shelf in the hallway, listen to music, and breathe the atmosphere of the period, the typical atmosphere of a bourgeois house. of Porto from the turn of the 19th century to the 20th century
Via the elevator or stairs you go up to the apartment floor.
The apartment is very comfortable, bright and functional, even for longer stays.
The openly eclectic decor is punctuated by pieces from different periods and origins.
All these pieces are authentic and have been recovered.
This is the only way to achieve true sustainability of the planet and respect for nature.
All the old wood and beams in the house that had to be replaced were reused to make some furniture, namely the beds and headboards.
Among classic furniture, an antique chest of drawers, a 19th century Portuguese settee, and an antique Chinese chest, you will find Portuguese furniture from the 70s and the iconic chair that the Portuguese designer José Espinho designed in the 60s for Olaio.
The lighting is designed for you to enjoy great comfort. You will find different lamps from our collection, from the Hungarian wall lamps from a hotel in Budapest, to the Portuguese lamp from the 70s on the living room ceiling.
The "Duques" neighborhood is the ideal option for your stay, it is the coolest neighborhood, with soul and charisma in the center of Porto. The Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto is located there. Here you will find quality local shops, art galleries, excellent restaurants and vegan options if you wish.

Jorge and Manuela were the consummate hosts of an absolutely impeccable property. The apartment is well located in a quiet, leafy part of Porto and was exactly as described - elegant and well appointed. Both bedrooms had large king sized beds, that were very comfortable. The thoughtful welcome gifts of fruit, wine, and cheese were very much appreciated. Jorge recommended several restaurants - we tried a few of them, and they didn't disappoint. This stay was easily the best we've ever experienced, such a special apartment, with luxurious touches throughout. We recommended it wholeheartedly.

We couldn’t have been more pleased with Jorge’s property. The apartment is gorgeous and beautifully kept. Jorge gave us maps and described all of the best spots to visit and eat, and even more remarkably, provided us with local port and wine and fresh fruit and cookies!!!! Truly unusual and lovely. And we loved the location.Thank you Jorge for a lovely introduction to your country!

You won’t want to miss out on renting this place! It’s a 10. The host was fantastic. Manuela spent 45 minutes showing us the whole town and pointing out the best spots. The apartment was amazing, with such great attention to detail in its sparkling cleanliness. You can easily walk to everything. Porto is a wonderful town to explore.

This was the nicest Vrbo we have stayed in. The owner was amazing, he spent 20 minutes with a map explaining all the best restaurants, tourist sites, etc in the area after we checked in. He also showed us how everything worked. They provided wine, pastries, a giant bowl of fruit, coffee, teas, and biscuits in the room for us. I can’t say enough great things about the owners. The only negative I can say is only a personal thing, the bed upstairs was too firm for me but it didn’t matter as the rest of the place was beyond what we have experienced in a Vrbo. The decor, architecture, cleanliness, carpentry work- all superior. It is Close to many great restaurants and an easy walk to the touristy sections of town. We will be back and highly recommend it.
