About this lodge
Camp Jackson Lodge is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Nestled on beautiful Lake Guntersville one mile north of the BB. Commer Bridge on the Tennessee River. The property includes a private boat ramp and dock. This is truly a fisherman's paradise. Five beds sleeps 12 people 5 and 1/2 bathrooms. A commercial kitchen. Newly updating gazebo that seats 25 people with a 75-in TV . Free Wi-Fi, master bedroom overlooks the lake with patio lower decks across two sides of the lodge. Truly a perfect place for an escape to enjoy as a family. Minutes away from the world. Famous Unclaimed Baggage. Numerous state parks in the area for hiking and exploring.

This home was simply amazing for myself and my husband. We celebrated his 50th birthday by also bringing both of families together for the first time. It was all we imagined it to be. They enjoyed fishing everyday and all the space. Everyone had there own room with extra sleeping available if we needed it. We have no complaints what so ever we meet the host and the owner came by as noted not disturbing us at all. All I can day to go is worth it the picture are exactly as seen it was for sir the best decision for weekday I wanted to do for my husband just great family and great friends time we had. Thanks again

Our stay here was excellent. The communication with the host was great. It had everything we needed for a group of nine going fishing. Plenty of space for parking trucks and trailers.

Overall we had a great time at this property. Unfortunately we did have some issues. The owner had to meet us at the property with the keys and felt a tour was necessary, which was a little awkward. It also required extra communication and coordination. The house was as pictured in the ad, plenty of room for the entire family with great kitchen space for big families. However the main living room and kitchen area had a very potent smell that we had to contend with during our stay. Very similar to an animal urine smell. The dock is not swimmer friendly, and does not provide great access for lounging or sunbathing. The dock is also shared with other residents which is not disclosed in the advertisement. We were only told that someone would be coming on the 4th to take their boat from the dock, but we stayed for 5 nights and every day we were there we had traffic in and out of the sheds and the boat dock. Neighbors and owner, who were all very friendly, but this lack of privacy made the stay a little uncomfortable. Not what we are normally used to for a VRBO stay.
