Hello! Send a request & tell us a little about yourself & where you’re coming from! We’d love to have you stay in our cabin built for our children & grandchildren Located in Byrdstown. Nestled at the end of a 1.2 mile long gravel road, in a serene setting, this cozy retreat offers guests a tranquil escape. With a comfortable bedroom, modern amenities like WiFi and AC, and a peaceful atmosphere, your stay here will be truly enjoyable. A 5 minute walk down a wooded trail will take you to a gorgeous OVERLOOK of the lake.
Less than 30 minutes from Sunset Marina, Star point Marina & Cove creek campground with ramp. BOAT PARKING IS AVAILABLE AT CABIN. Primitive boat slip at Franklin Creek (kayaks, and small boats) less than 1 mile away. Loads of on property private hiking trails, (steep ones leading down to the lake are for more ATHLETIC hikers!!), and beautiful views overlooking Dale Hollow Lake, Obey river. No other rentals on property. Very Remote & secluded. Full kitchen with dishes, silverware, coffee, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and range. Linens and 2 towels with washcloths provided. Some firewood provided for the outdoor fireplace. 2 person Maximum. No Visitors. No Parties. No Exceptions. NO ANIMALS Unauthorized ANIMALS will result in $250 cleaning FEE and immediate revocation of reservation with absolutely no refund.

If you have anything bigger than a bass boat - not a good idea Road is very steep We docked at the marina for our stay which is located at bottom of mountain If you’re there for boating and/or fishing - staying at a marina cabin is your best bet Nice stay for a couple

The area and cabin are absolutely amazing. The only thing that was a little rough was the hike back up the mountain from the lake. LolCommunication was excellent and fast

Everything about our stay was excellent! The property was clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, peaceful, relaxing, and a perfect reconnection with nature. The picnic table overlook, the outdoor fire area, the beautiful view from the inside sitting area, the extra touches available…we loved every minute of our stay there. Sitting outside on the porch during a calming rain was the icing on the cake. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is the perfect place.

Amazing host! Amazing cabin! This place is one of a kind. The location is truly secluded. If you want to SIT with mother nature this is the spot. Totally worth the winding roads!
