A covered porch with ceiling fans overlooking the lake invites you to sit in the rockers for your morning coffee or enjoy an afternoon nap in the twin size bed swing in the screened area. Surrounded by trees, the sounds of nature and the gentle breeze make stress disappear. Marvel in the majestic evening sunsets while soaking in the hot tub or sitting around the lakeside fire pit. Just a 5 minute walk to The Pointe which offers various activities most weekends including inflatables, food trucks, live music and pontoon rentals. Located 12 miles from Wetumpka, as featured on HGTV, with several restaurants, boutiques, art exhibits, casino, kayak and paddle board rentals. Several nearby biking and hiking trails. Hot tub, canoe, grill, swim and boat dock available on site for use. Football fans alert--We are 50 miles from Auburn and have RV parking available. We had a fabulous stay at Dogwood Cottage. The accommodations were everything we could ask for in a rental. The host was available when needed and quick to answer our questions. The vacation cottage was nicely decorated and very clean. We loved the location surrounded by nature.

We had an amazing stay! The home was absolutely immaculate and looked even better than the pictures. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. Our group had the best time, especially fishing — it was definitely a highlight of the trip.The host was wonderful and very accommodating, even allowing us to stay a little longer, which we really appreciated. You can tell they truly care about their guests having a great experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

This is a beautiful property. The house was immaculate. The amenities were great. Loved the back porch. The views of the lake were beautiful and it was very peaceful and relaxing. Especially enjoyed the fire pit. The host was very attentive and was helpful in making our stay enjoyable.
