It was a scam and fraud
I had a very bad experience of scam and fraud as The property didn’t reply me and didn’t pick up calls and blocked me even in whats App although i paid by my credit card and I didn’t have enough money to book another hotel and i was in street in a very bad weather till 12 Am till one of my friends came to me and lend me some cash so i can pay to a hotel which i booked it with a very high price

Rien, nous nous sommes faits voler.
A FUIR ! Cette annonce est une arnaque : bien que nous ayons eu des contacts téléphoniques et par sms avec le propriétaire, mon fils s'est retrouvé à Lyon devant une porte close et avec un message prétextant une fuite de gaz. Les 300 euros de réservation ont été encaissés et il a dû chercher une chambre où passer la nuit en urgence puis un autre logement pour tout le reste de la semaine, que de stress et que d'argent perdu.
Booking n'a jamais répondu à nos messages et j'ai passé 2 jours à essayer de joindre le service client au téléphone en attendant à chaque fois plus de 30minutes. Il n'est pas normal qu'on ne puisse pas les joindre alors qu'on se trouve dans une situation où un relogement urgent est nécessaire et devant un cas manifeste d'escroquerie. J'ai enfin eu une personne très compréhensive au téléphone qui a réussi à contacter rapidement la propriétaire. La personne de Booking a promis un remboursement, cependant c'est moi qui ai dû demander un mail de confirmation et bien sûr, le remboursement peut prendre entre 7 à 12 jours... l'aurons-nous réellement ?
Je constate donc un grand manque de protection du consommateur et de transparence en cas de problème venant du propriétaire du logement : tout est prévu si le locataire annule mais pas dans l'autre sens ! J'ai eu bien du mal à trouver le numéro de téléphone du service client sur le site, puis à les joindre puisque tous les interlocuteurs étaient déjà pris. Il faudrait que Booking recrute plus de personnel et mette son numéro de service client en évidence afin que celui-ci soit digne de ce nom. Enfin, l'annonce est toujours en ligne, autorisant cette propriétaire à continuer ses pratiques douteuses !
Booking est un service très pratique cependant, pour que ce site ne deviennent pas un repaire à escrocs, je les invite à prendre des mesures urgentes pour protéger les consommateurs.
