This was a great place to stay. Close to Cat Ba town but not in it - 10min walk, closer to boat experiences...our sort of place, out of the busy town. Hired scooters, so easy to get around

Friendly staff.
Great laundry service, at good price.
Ok breakfast (it is free), and rather a snack than a fill you up.
Quiet location, beautiful view even with the restricted view rooms.
Nice area on the rooftop.

The location was quiet and had a great view to the sea.
The room wasn't as shown on the photos. The shower pipes were rusty, the face towels looked like cleaning cloths, the floor wasn't very clean, the breakfast was very poor with overripe bananas, papaya, corn flakes and some cold pancakes. They had fresh omelette upon request which was nice. For the same price there were other hotels in Vietnam that were proper boutique hotels.
