I had such a wonderful stay at Odyssey Hostel in Ha Giang! The hostel itself was clean, comfortable, and had an amazing view. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, the toilets were spotless, and the bed was really comfortable.
What really made my stay special was the staff. Both receptionists were absolutely awesome friendly, welcoming, helpful, and always happy to have a chat or help with anything. The kitchen staff were also incredibly nice and made breakfast with such a warm and positive attitude. Everyone made me feel genuinely welcome and at home.
Unfortunately They didn’t have enough people for the Ha Giang Loop tour during my stay, so I booked with Raw Hostel instead, and thankfully it turned out to be a fantastic experience. Ha Giang tour with raw was superb
Overall, I had a great experience at Odyssey Hostel. Lovely people, great breakfast, clean facilities, comfortable beds, and a beautiful view. I would happily stay here again and definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Ha Giang! ❤️

De vrouwelijke receptioniste was wel vriendelijk. Het was gelegen in de stad, dus als je daarvan houdt zit je goed.
Je komt precies binnen in een garage. Daarna word je naar je kamer gebracht. De kamer rook vochtig en ik vond het niet aangenaam dat er enkel een raam in de badkamer was en niet in de kamer. De kamer werd omschreven als kamer met mountainview maar dat is dus enkel vanuit de badkamer. Het hotel geeft algemeen een eerder vervallen indruk. Het komt helemaal niet overeen met de foto’s Het zwembad is wel aangenaam maar niet echt proper en toen we over de rand naar beneden keken zagen we ratten tussen vuilnis lopen. Wij overnachtten hier 1 nacht alvorens we de loop startten. Het ontbijt was ook niet in orde. De melk en de boter waren zuur. Toen we dit meldden scheen de bediende ons niet te geloven. Uiteindelijk kregen we andere melk maar die was ook zuur. Mijn zoon heeft zijn ontbijt pas na 20 minuten gekregen en heeft het dus niet meer kunnen opeten omdat we moesten vertrekken op de loop. Ik zou dit hotel dan ook niet aanraden.
