Owner Presence & Privacy
The guest cottage is located on the same property as the main house, where the owners often reside. They are warm, welcoming, and genuinely enjoy meeting guests — but they fully respect privacy.
Interaction is always guest-led. If you prefer a quiet, private stay, you’ll have it. If you’d like recommendations, conversation, or local tips, they’re happy to share. You’re always in control.
The property also has a friendly senior Labrador named Jack 🐾
Jack is completely harmless and stays primarily in the main house. Guests will only meet him if they ask. You may hear him occasionally, especially when pulling into the driveway, as he likes to announce arrivals. His greatest joy is fetching a frisbee.

Fishing poles are available upon request for use from the pier or dock.
🛶 Kayak Rentals
$50 per day
$185 maximum for a full week
Must be rented for the entire stay
Signed liability waiver required
To ensure availability, please request at least 48 hours in advance.
🚣 Canoe Rental
$85 per day
$250 maximum for a full week
Must be rented for the entire stay
Signed liability waiver required
To ensure availability, please request at least 48 hours in advance.

$50 per day
Dock space is available for guest boats. Please inquire in advance to confirm availability.
Guest Access:
Guests will have private access to the two-story guest cottage, which is completely separate from the main house. Entry to the cottage is via a smart lock, and a unique access code will be provided prior to check-in for easy, contactless arrival.
While the main house is off-limits, guests are welcome to enjoy all other areas of the property, including the bayfront deck, fire pit, pier, dock, boathouse, and waterfront areas, unless otherwise noted.
The goal is for you to feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home — with plenty of space to enjoy the property at your own pace.

Additional Guest Amenities
For your convenience, a selection of beach chairs, umbrellas, and assorted beach and water toys is available for guest use. These items are provided as a courtesy to help make your time on the water or at the beach more enjoyable.
Availability may vary, but guests are welcome to use what is available during their stay and are kindly asked to return them after use.

Southern hospitality at its finest! Daniel & Cindy were amazing hosts. Their local recommendations were spot on - Reileigh's was 10/10! The property was about 20-30 from the typical beach attractions, which is perfect if you are looking for a quiet retreat after a busy day of beach fun. The scenery....wow! Best view we have ever had while visiting the coast! There are stairs & the bathrooms were a little tight, but the bed was incredibly comfortable & having a screened in porch made sitting outside enjoyable. And the dock... worth the trip!! Definitely a perfect choice for anyone looking for great views and peaceful serenity!

Very clean, owners are next sort of you need anything. Great communication with the host while booking etc. lots of areas to hang out outside and about 25 mins from the beach. Had equipment to wake board, fishing etc. will definitely be back. 10/10

This place is truly a GEM! The layout and the amenities were perfect for us to relax, unwind, and experience wildlife. Our host was quick to communicate and make sure we were well taken care of. Felt like a home away from home. Thanks for having us! Look forward to coming back!
