The interior was clean, with clean towels and linens, a well-equipped kitchen, working Wi-Fi, dish soap and laundry detergent provided. The location was excellent for us, especially traveling with our dog. The private dog-friendly beach was only a few hundred yards away and the parking pass made it very convenient. We also appreciated the unexpected guest closet in the carport with beach chairs, an umbrella and other useful beach items.
Unfortunately, there were several maintenance and listing issues. We were not able to check in early even though the property appeared vacant and ready, and we had to wait outside in approximately 87°F heat because the access code was not active until the official check-in time. The exterior and grilling area were dirty, the BBQ grill shown in the listing was missing, and the outdoor countertop and storage closets were broken. All of the interior blinds were also broken and could not properly close. The property did not feel as freshly renovated as advertised. There was also an attempted $150 pet fee despite the listing stating that pets were allowed without an additional charge; Booking.com ultimately resolved that issue. The 10 AM checkout was also quite early, with no apparent flexibility for a later checkout.
