We had a wonderful stay here and can wholeheartedly recommend this place. What made our stay truly special was the incredible hospitality of Nam and his family. From the very beginning, we were treated not just as guests, but almost like part of the family.
Nam even invited us to cook together with his family and offered us a little cooking class. It was such a lovely experience because it gave us the opportunity to spend time together, get to know his family and experience a little bit of local life. These are exactly the kinds of moments that make a trip memorable.
Nam was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our entire stay. He took care of everything, drove us into town and even took us to the bus station when we left. He also showed us where to find good local food and nice places to have coffee. We always felt very well looked after, but never in an intrusive way.
The room itself was excellent. Everything is very new – only about three months old when we stayed – and you can really tell that a lot of thought has gone into the place. The bed and especially the mattress deserve a special mention: it was neither too hard nor too soft, simply extremely comfortable. Having a refrigerator in the room was also very convenient.
The location was another highlight for us. It is surrounded by lots of nature and feels wonderfully peaceful and quiet, while still being conveniently located and close enough to everything we needed.
Breakfast was very good as well and was a lovely way to start the day.
We would absolutely stay here again. If you are looking for a peaceful place, a comfortable and beautiful room, and above all a genuinely warm and personal experience with wonderful hosts, we highly recommend staying here.

C’est neuf et l’emplacement est top. Un peu reculé mais pas trop loin du centre en scooter. Le petit déjeuner tous les jours à l’heure servis dans notre terrasse est quelque chose d’agréable. Il est venu nous chercher et nous a ramené. Le petit village où il habite est très sympathique. Eau chaude
Les oreillers n’étaient pas confortables et faisaient mal au cou. Beaucoup de fourmis, ne surtout pas laisser de nourriture. Manque d’intimité, des fois on avait juste envie de se poser tranquillement et on s’est senti un peu étouffé. Il n’est pas nécessaire d’en faire trop. Il suffit d’être naturel…

A lovely brand new property set within a little village, the room was one of the cosiest we’ve had within Vietnam. It was nice to be off the main busy road of Phong Nha, to walk around the village and say hello to the locals. Nam the owner is so generous, caring and friendly. He picked and dropped us off from the bus stop, sorted a moped for us, organised a cave tour and even invited us to cook and have dinner with his beautiful family, to get a real view of Vietnamese life. The Homestay is only a few mins drive from the centre and ten mins from the Duck Stop so a great location. The breakfasts were so tasty and were delivered to the exact time we had asked for them. We felt so lucky to experience this and would recommend to everyone to stay here to get a real view of Vietnamese life.

Nam is echt een superlieve eigenaar die echt voor je klaarstaat. Hij wil het beste voor z’n gasten. Wij huurden een scooter bij hem op een regenachtige dag en we kregen zelfs poncho’s om te lenen.
