The Hobbit House is built into the side of the mountain and overlooks the gorgeous Little Tallapoosa River aka the beginning of Lake Wedowee. We have a pizza oven and a griddle out front for your use.

About this house rental

Enjoy "second breakfast" in the deep secluded forest in the underground Hobbit House at Riversong Forest Retreat, with a view of the river. Designed to look like a European castle on the interior, our underground LOTR retreat offers a luxe marble bath, granite kitchen, vintage art, tapestries, Portuguese tiles, round doors/window and antiques. You'll feel like royalty in the hand painted 1880s bed. Enjoy amenities like gas pizza oven, firepit, griddle, and outdoor clawfoot tubs
