Nine miles westward is Fort Morgan's beaches and boardwalks, as well as access to Dauphin Island via the Mobile Bay Ferry.
Things to know:
Guests will have access to six outdoor pools on the Gulf Shores Plantation grounds plus one indoor pool, and sauna in the Dome Area of Bldg 4.

Love the beach front view from the deck - for us it was the slightly higher price. Spent a lot of time out on the deck. Its not spacious, but appreciate the chairs and side table so we could lounge out there with our drinks and snacks.Bed and pillows were fine. Plenty of storage for 2 with the dresser and closet. Appreciated having reading lights on both sides of the bed. Did not care for the bedroom blinds. The window requires a covering since it looks out to the public walkway, but it made it really dark during the during the day and allowed light in at night. I would have liked a modesty curtain for daytime that would obscure views and allow light, then a blackout drape over that for nighttime. Pool was great, good boardwalk, appreciate the showers and foot washing stations after coming in from the. We loved the beach off the resort with light sand, very little trash, and not a lot of people.Kitchen adequate. We would have liked one or two microwave safe dishes with lids to steam vegetables. And only one dish towel, but we made do.Check-in and check-out easy in the VRBO app. Management company was quick to respond to any questions.Never got the door to lock properly however as instructions said to press the "Schlage" button. Our door did not have one, while others on our floor did.

The condo had a beautiful view of the gulf. We enjoyed watching both the sunrise and sunsets from the balcony. The kitchen had a new stove, microwave, and countertops but could use some stocking of new dishes. The pans were few and very scratched. They did have new floors in the living room as well.
