The apartment was spacious and aesthetically pleasing, with a king-sized bed and thoughtful welcome treats, but missing

Spacious, aesthetically pleasing apartment with a king sized bed. It had 1+ bathrooms. They welcomed us with wine and some snacks. It was right around the corner from a grocery store.

Check-in instructions were lacking—there was no code to get in the building and there were no apartment numbers so we had to try the code on every door. The upstairs bathroom smelled like sewage. The A/C didn’t cool the upstairs which made it hard to sleep. The couch was uncomfortable. It was missing some basic additions like a hand towel for the downstairs bathroom and cooking oil or salt. The booking communication portal didn’t work for our entire stay so messaging was only possibly through WhatsApp. The ceiling started leaking in the kitchen right as we were checking out.
