The Space:

Welcome to your peaceful Tennessee River escape - a cozy, approximately 1,000-square-foot cabin where warm wood details, comfortable gathering spaces and outdoor recreation come together.



🌲 ARRIVAL & COVERED FRONT PORCH



A stone pathway leads through the wooded yard to the covered front porch. Four steps bring you onto the porch, where a ceiling fan, outdoor dining table and comfortable lounge seating create an inviting place to enjoy morning coffee, share a meal or unwind in the shade.



🏡 LIVING ROOM



Step through the front door into a bright, open living room with hardwood floors and a soaring tongue-and-groove wood ceiling. The open wooden staircase and cedar-style loft railing add rustic character while allowing you to see the upper sleeping area from below.



Settle into the comfortable sofa or recliner and stream a movie on the smart TV. Please note that the television offers internet-based streaming rather than traditional cable service. Large windows bring in natural light and views of the surrounding trees.



🍳 KITCHEN & DINING AREA



Continue into the open kitchen, which is fully equipped for everything from quick breakfasts to relaxed family dinners. It includes:



• Full-size refrigerator and freezer

• Electric stove and oven

• Microwave

• Dishwasher

• Coffee maker with ground coffee

• Hot-water kettle

• Cookware, dishes and silverware

• Generous cabinet and counter space



The adjacent dining table seats approximately four guests. An electronic dartboard adds a little friendly competition after dinner.

The main-level bedroom offers the home’s most private sleeping space. It includes a king-size bed, bedside tables and lamps, a ceiling fan and a small desk with a chair. Soft colors and natural light create a calm place to rest after a day on the water.



🛁 FULL BATHROOM



The main-level full bathroom includes a bathtub and shower combination, toilet, vanity, mirror and storage. Towels are provided for your stay.



🧺 PRIVATE LAUNDRY AREA



A separate laundry area includes a stacked washer and dryer along with laundry and basic cleaning supplies, making it convenient to refresh clothes during longer stays.



⬆️ OPEN SLEEPING LOFT



Follow the open wooden staircase upstairs to the spacious sleeping loft. The loft overlooks the living room and includes:



• One queen-size bed

• One twin-size bed

• A comfortable couch for lounging - not a sofa bed

• A dedicated desk and chair

• Wooded views from multiple windows

• Ceiling fan

• Digital piano/keyboard

• Yoga mat, exercise ball and compact workout equipment



The loft sleeps up to three guests and has a convenient adjacent half bathroom with a toilet and vessel sink.



Please note that this is an open loft without a bedroom door or complete separation from the living room below. It offers plenty of space but less sound and visual privacy than a traditional enclosed bedroom.



🌿 REAR DECK & WOODED YARD



Step outside to the elevated rear deck, where you will find additional seating and a propane gas grill for outdoor cooking. The surrounding yard offers mature trees and a picnic table for casual meals in the fresh air.



🎣 LAKE & DOG-FRIENDLY EXTRAS



Nearby lake access makes the cabin a convenient base for fishing and enjoying the water. Fishing poles, life jackets, pool noodles and inflatable water items are available at the property.



Guests traveling with an approved dog will also find thoughtful extras such as a dog bed, food and water bowls, toys, dog life jackets and a pet carrier. The yard is not fenced, so dogs must remain supervised whenever they are outside.



Additional comforts include Wi-Fi, central heating and air conditioning, bed linens, towels, blinds, cleaning supplies and a crib.



Guest Access:

Guests will have private access to the entire cabin, including the covered front porch, rear deck, yard, kitchen, laundry area and free on-site parking.



Check-in begins at 4:00 PM. Detailed arrival instructions, parking information, electronic door-access instructions and directions to the approved lake-access point will be sent approximately 48 hours before check-in.



Parking is available at the front of the property. Spaces are not assigned, and street parking is not permitted.



Guests may use the designated shared lake-access area. However, the nearby private dock is not included with the reservation and must not be used.



Checkout is at 10:00 AM.

The cabin is tucked into a quiet, wooded rural community near the Tennessee River and Kentucky Lake region. This peaceful setting is ideal for lake days, fishing and relaxing outdoors away from city noise.



🌊 LOCAL FAVORITES & THINGS TO DO



Turkey Creek Marina is a popular local stop for casual dockside dining and a relaxed marina atmosphere. In Tennessee Ridge, Lindsey’s Smokey Ridge BBQ & More offers a local barbecue option.



Waverly and Dickson are useful destinations for groceries, shopping and everyday supplies. McEwen is home to the North American Lineman Training Center, making the cabin a peaceful home base for families visiting students.



For additional day trips, explore Loretta Lynn’s Ranch, Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge, Johnsonville State Historic Park, Walls Art Park and the outdoor recreation surrounding Kentucky Lake.



This is a secluded country setting rather than a walkable downtown neighborhood, so guests should plan to drive and verify current business hours before visiting.



Getting Around:

A personal vehicle is essential because shops, restaurants and attractions are not within walking distance. The final approach follows quiet, winding and hilly rural roads, including gravel sections. Drive slowly and consider arriving before dark for your first visit. We recommend using GPS and reviewing the arrival instructions before beginning your trip.



Free parking is available at the front of the home, but street parking is not permitted.



Other Things to Note:

Maximum occupancy is five guests.



• The sleeping arrangement includes one private king bedroom and an open upstairs loft with one queen bed and one twin bed.



• The loft is open to the living room and does not have a bedroom door, so it offers less privacy than an enclosed bedroom.



• The home is not step-free. There are four steps at the entrance and a full staircase leading to the loft.



• Dogs are welcome with prior approval and an applicable pet fee. Other types of pets are not permitted.



• The yard is not fenced. Dogs must remain supervised and under control outdoors.



• Guests have access to a designated shared lake-access point, but the nearby private dock is strictly off-limits.



• Children must be closely supervised around the open staircase, elevated deck and nearby water.



• No fires are permitted on the property.



• The TV provides streaming entertainment through the internet; cable television is not available.



• Early check-in or luggage drop-off may be available upon request and is subject to approval and availability.



• Late checkout of up to two additional hours may be available with advance approval and is subject to availability.



• Please place garbage in the outdoor can and secure it with the provided rope to prevent animals from getting inside. The cleaner will handle final removal after checkout.



• Mail and package collection are not provided at the property.
