About this house rental
I am renting a beautiful 3 bedroom home with 2 full bathrooms, a 5 minute drive to campus and to extensive shopping areas that include a mall, 2 large groceries and 1 health food stores. It is on a very quiet cul-de-sac which is a 10 minute walk to the YMCA. Wi-Fi is available. I have a very well equipped kitchen. A queen size foam mattress is available, if needed. My dining room table can seat 12. I am flexible in both check-in and check out times. It is my primary residence.
I will be home to welcome my guests and give them a quick tour of the house. Once I depart, guests will have the entire house to themselves. I am always available, though, if they need any assistance.
I live in a lovely upper middle class neighborhood full of trees and gardens.
On the first floor is a well appointed kitchen, a full bathroom, a bedroom with a full size bed and a large living/dining room. On the second floor is the master bedroom, with a queen size bed and a second bedroom, with a full size bed, with an attached full bathroom between the two bedrooms.
My house has a lovely view out of the large main room, which has a cathedral ceiling. I have a deck surrounding the house overlooking gardens and trees.
There are 2 bus lines a short walking distance from my house. Bloomington is a small town, so taxi fares are not high. Uber is even more reasonable.
My driveway is steep so following a snow storm it can be impassable, by car. There are stairs with a handrail leading from the sidewalk to my front door. The reason I keep my listing inactive during the winter months, is due to my concern about this. Also, because my driveway is steep, if your vehicle has a low under carriage, be cautious when driving up to my house. I do not have pets but occasionally a relative will visit with a dog.
