Very nice updated room and bathroom. Comfortable beds, clean. Short Shuttle to airport.

Arrived late from airport and was unable to take the 6:00 am shuttle as it was full. Had to take the 5:30, 1/2 hour less of valuable sleep.

Digital Key / Digital Checkout - never had to use the front desk! Nice breakfast included.

The breakfast that was included was good. Everything exceeded my expectations.

They woke me up asking if I want cleaning even though I only stayed for one night so I obviously don't want cleaning 2 hours before checkout.

The staff were exceptional! They welcomed us warmly, provided extra blankets and pillows, toothpaste and tooth brushes, and our room was beyond expectations. It was bright, clean, with a very comfortable mattress, extra towels, and a comfortable desk chair and desk area for work. The blackout curtains and draperies were very helpful for sleeping in, and the free breakfast was also beyond expectations, with warm breads, omelets, fresh juices and coffee, oatmeal, and toast. The front desk staff, Veronica, Heer, and Alicia were very hospitable, and the housepersons Jeremy and Pedro were extremely helpful and kind, storing our luggage and bringing it to the shuttle car, and their driver took us to the Newark airport within minutes and also helped unload the baggage. Our family will return here on our next visit and most highly recommend the Hampton Inn at Newark Airport as this was the best experience and one that reaches beyond expectations with the hospitality that is very rare these days. They truly merit their mission statement of Heart with genuine hospitality! Thank you for making our visit to the Newark area a most memorable one.

Everything was beyond expectations! Please keep everything as is!! We would have always stayed here if we had only known the high standards that you deliver. The generous breakfast offerings helped our family get off on a good start to travel into the city, and the helpful staff helped with hints on our travel time into NYC, and return transportation in the evenings.

Nice breakfast and shuttle driver on return dropped us off directly at Terminal A after learning that all passengers we’re going there.

Would have been helpful to have been given instructions on how to get hotel shuttle when we arrived in Newark. We had to keep asking people where we should go for hotel shuttles because there was not good signage at the airport.

Alecia was at the desk to welcome us and get us checked in. She was so friendly and hospitable! She helped us get a cab and suggested a great restaurant for dinner. She really understood how to treat guest at your hotel. You are lucky to have an employee like Alecia! The shuttle driver to the airport, was also commendable. It was very early and a full bus of people were waiting to be dropped at different terminals. Plus it was raining! He was very organized and polite, and kept a positive jovial spirit that started our day with confidence in a great trip!

There was an awful smell when we first arrived. It dissipate upon our running the AC full blast for a while, but if it’s coming from the AC, they should vent the room before we get there. Once that was taken care of, our stay was just fine. Breakfast was adequate and free. Shuttle service to the airport was timely. Note you DO have to reserve it ahead of time.

For whatever reason I was assigned a room with special needs as if I indicated I needed one. I was too exhausted from my trip and was catching another shortly. The older lady at the reception was excellent, the younger one on the shift handled my room assignment. Remembering the smirk on her face it then makes sense it was to mask that. If you’re overbooked you won’t have to manipulate guests to suite your needs. Otherwise a decent accommodation.

The room was clean but the washroom was not.

There are kettles in the room which very disappointing.

Liegt unmittelbar am Flughafen mit halbstündlichem Gratis-Shuttle. Trotzdem ruhige Zimmer.
