Sandy was exceptional. Friendly eager to help and very accommodating when there is a very small staff that do everything.

Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing and nowhere near worth what we paid. We booked two rooms, and there were significant cleanliness, maintenance, and safety issues throughout our stay. In the first room, the bed had clearly been slept in and had not been made. The bathtub was dirty, and there was visible residue or grime on the toilet and the wall behind it. We initially assumed we had simply been given the wrong room, so we asked to move. The second room was somewhat cleaner, but the bathtub/shower still wasn’t properly clean, and there was an old, crumpled, empty shampoo bottle left behind. The television had only a handful of channels available, and they were almost entirely news or sports. The biggest concern, however, was the door did not lock. The key card was essentially useless because you could open the door without a key. Even the deadbolt did not work. The only way we could secure the room was by using the metal safety bar at the very top of the door. That is completely unacceptable, especially when traveling with children. We also tried calling the front desk twice to get the Wi-Fi password. The phone rang and rang, but no one answered, and we never received a call back. Our third room was the cleanest of the three, although the bathroom still could have used a much better cleaning. The blow dryer was broken, and one of the beds was broken and shifted from side to side. We later discovered that a metal bar was broken and sticking out over the bed frame. Unfortunately, one of our children was gashed in the shin by the exposed metal. That is not just an inconvenience—it is a serious safety issue. The remote control in that room was also missing its back, so the batteries constantly fell out, although thankfully this television did have more channels available. The outdoor pool was probably one of the better parts of the stay. It was decent the first night, although it definitely needed cleaning by the following morning.
