Zimmer und Frühstück entsprachen dem Hampton Inn Standard, also gut. Das Personal war zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.
Der Straßenlärm war recht laut, insbesondere die Quads, die die Wüstenpiste befuhren. Später in der Nacht wurde es ruhiger.

The front desk staff was probably the best I’ve ever seen. Super helpful as we checking pretty late after a long drive with kids. Breakfast was very good. And it was truly hot breakfast.

Goed hotel in rustige omgeving met uitzicht over de High Desert. Veel restaurants in de directe omgeving, Barstow Outlet op 2 minuten lopen. Fantastisch ontbijt in moderne ontbijtruimte. Goede wifi, al is t inlog traject nogal uitdagend.
De badkamer kan een update gebruiken.

Das Hotel wird gerade komplett renoviert, dies geschieht jedoch so dezent, dass wir uns nie beeinträchtigt gefühlt haben.
Die Zimmer entsprechen der gewohnten Hampton-Qualität, waren sehr sauber und die Betten sehr bequem. Das Frühstück war für amerikanische Verhältnisse sehr reichhaltig mit Oatmeal, Omlett, Frikadelle, Toast/Bagel u.v.m.

It is under renovation. It was uncomfortable to go in the back door. The shower door would not open it was off its track.

Receptionists on arrival we’re rude . Key card did not work and no apology. Fridge did not work in room . Ice machines not working . Hotel needs a lot of attention

the beds are comfy
the fridge in our room #209 did not work, and yes we checked that it was plugged in and the dial was not on the off position. we did not realise till we came back from dinner and a drive so didn’t call the desk as it was 11pm. instead we got ice for the ice bucket to sit our drinks in. we did tell the staff in the morning who said they where sorry for the inconvenience. I found it very distasteful to have the coffee facilities on the bench right next to the toilet in our room. in fact that close I would have been able to sit on the toilet and make myself a coffee if I drank them. if it needs to remain in the bathroom it should at least be on the side away from the toilet. the shower had black hairs on the bath tub and the soap holder had old soap that had been built up over use of soap.

felt safe for the area being so bad
Wi-Fi was a terrible scam. breakfast was worse than I expected even for a hotel. semi clean room. terrible shower. no fan in bathroom.
