We thought the location was GREAT!

Our room was advertised as having a water view; the view we had was a sliver of water and not what we expected. No hot tub at the hotel. Wi-Fi not being provided was a SHOCK! Then add the price being asked for Wi-Fi when guest generally are only in their room for a fraction of their stay. At the price we paid per night at an upper scale hotel having no free Wi-Fi was both surprising and disappointing.

Location is very good and central to the main attractions

The resturant was closed, and you had to eat in the lobby. Not ideal with hungry kids after a big day sightseeing. Same for breakfast, no access to the breakfast buffet unless you were a member of the Marriot loyalty club. These were small things, but tainted our experience. No minibar in the rooms was also unusual

Cleanliness and location was perfect.

It did not include breakfast. Also paid parking so we ended just doing valet, you also have to pay for wifi if you aren’t a certain member

Unusual smell in the carpeted hallways. The granite in the bathroom countertops was marked up.

The waterfront view was nice. The proximity to downtown area and sporting events was good. The bed was comfortable.

1. It took bell staff a long time to get our bags up to our room. 2. The phones were not answered promptly at front desk or operator, and guest services.

The location was wonderful. The hotel room view of the ocean and piers was spectacular. Very close to the famous market and shopping. Near great dining. We enjoyed walking along the ocean right outside the hotel.

No self parking, we had to pay valet daily. The pool temperature was on the cold side. If it had more features like a sauna, steam, and hot tub.

Door hinge of the room broken. Bathroom door hold by a rubber band when it should close alone, hair in the shower (not ours obviously).
