The location had a lot of resturants within 5 miles for dinning our. The breakfast was not hot as I like it but had a good basic selection.

The man Ricky that checked us in at 9:00pm on 02/08/2023 was extremely nice. We couldn't have asked for a more smooth check in.

Ricky who was at the front desk when we checked in was a pure delight!! Explained things well and was very helpful. Had a problem with the first room and he got us a new one immediately with no problem. Comfy beds, spacious room and good breakfast. For anyone who wants to know, no elevators but that didn't bother us because we only had a couple bags for an overnight stay.

The first room had roaches on the bed and in the bathtub and seemed as if it wasn't cleaned well. But we did get a new room and checked it thoroughly and it was much better and cleaner. Didn't like the perfume smell in the halls. It was a bit strong and could make you feel slightly nauseous.

All was good

The gentleman working check-in the evening we arrived (Rick) was awesome. Very polite and professional. The room was clean and the Wi-Fi was the fastest I've ever seen in a hotel, as I was able to stream and watch the football game we had attended that day when we made it back to the room. No issues with the streaming. There is plenty of parking and it is easy to get to both downtown Auburn and downtown Opelika from this location.

We came in for a college football game, and as such, we paid a premium price per night (2-3x the normal rate) for this room. We did expect a hotel with a bit more soundproofing and a bit more updated. The hotel fit the bill for what we needed, but it was very noisy with everyone coming and going beginning with the departing construction workers at 0600 on Friday morning. Every door that opened and closed did so with the bang of metal on metal, and sounds traveled easily through the walls and floors as people were coming and going.

No elevator, doors to stairs had knobs, quite awkward with luggage.

It was super clean and snelled nice in the whole place...will definitely be back my mom lives in Auburn and we have been traveling there often...this is our new place to stay
