Clean and large room. Fairly freshly remodeled
Old and unappealing building. Interior hallways and of outside looks old and in need to repair/remodel.
Suspicious characters in the neighborhood. Warned by locals that it wasn't a safe neighborhood

I was well pleased that the front desk worker was willing to give me a decent and clean room after I shared with her that the room she assigned me was not clean and I did not feel comfortable sleeping or showering in that room, and the area was somewhat questionable/did not feel safe. So, I appreciated her kind customer service
