Tremont Lodge & Resort

The staff was extremely nice. The people at the desk were so cheerful and helpful. The room was very clean. The breakfast was nice.

The grounds looked unkept. Weedy, rough, getting our suitcases down a rough path to our room from the parking lot above wasn't easy. We found a stairway that was more conveniently located, but carrying the suitcases up a flight of stairs isn’t easy for older guests. The rooms were very dark. The bathroom area had better lighting.

Clean , well appointed hotel . Very convenient to local eateries and attractions . Plenty of good clean towels , shampoo , body wash and conditioner.

Hotel key didn’t work so had to travel all the way back around to the main office . It was very very hot outside and we felt like we were melting . I had asked for a late check out time of 1pm and was told 3 weeks prior not was okay . When I checked in Hotel staff said that yes it was fine for the 1 PM checkout as I was running a half marathon got back to our hotel after my half marathon at 11:30 and the hotel key would not work so I had to stand out in the sun in the heat while my husband went all the way around to the main office to get them to fix the key again. Not sure why the staff didn’t get that late check out notification handled prior .

Our room was big and spacious. Liked the size of the property.

Breakfast was pretty much the same each day. We had to write a note for housekeeping to bring us toilet paper and kleenex.
