Stayed here over the Christmas holidays and what a wonderful cabin ! Perfect, secluded and convenient location . Clean and had all the needed furnishings to complement the stay. Definitely will be returning next year !

This cabin was PERFECT for us! We loved everything being in one open area. The cabin was spotless! The shower was very nice. Back porch hot tub was clean and ready to use. It has was so relaxing to soak as the rain fell outside and we were under cover. The bed was high and comfortable! We could not think of one single thing we would change. We never left the whole entire weekend and we are already talking about booking it for our anniversary next year!

We love Townsend and the property was perfectly located. We were close to everything. The cabin was cozy and private We really enjoy it. This was a much needed alone time vacation for my husband and I and we did some cooking and relaxing. I Received the check in itinerary from the owner. That made it even more welcoming I would definitely stay again the cabin was excellent!

Hot tub on back deck was wonderful and would be even more so if some type of barrier/wire fence around deck railing to prevent unexpected intruders(bears) from dropping in unexpectedly from atop the wooded ridge it bumps up against. This did not happen but was a constant fear while on back deck.

This quaint cabin had all the amenities. Nice to have a hot tub after a day of hiking. Townsend is a great low key place to stay and close to one of the Smoky Mountain National Park entrances.

This cabin was perfect for our honeymoon in the Smokies. Surrounded by nature yet close to people and adventures. Even though there are other cabins on the property, you are tucked away with trees separating you. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Their property is well maintained and clean. We will definitely be coming back!

The Red Door Cabin worked out very well for us. VERY easy to get in and out of the Park. A Grocery and other food options are only 5 minutes or less. Since it was Dark when we arrived it was not easy to find. Some additional address signage at the top of the drive would be helpful to mark the location. But, after finding our way the 1st night everything else worked out great. Would not hesitate to stay again or recommend for others !

This was the perfect cabin for our trip to the Smokies for our wedding weekend. Small cabin with an open concept that gave us everything we needed. While it’s situated on a secluded drive with 2 other cabins close by, we didn’t feel as though we didn’t have privacy thanks to the small tree lines in between each cabin. The hot tub on the back porch was great for relaxing after long days. When we come back to the Smokies, this will be the cabin we stay in again. It was absolutely perfect!

If you have to go to the local hospital (Blount Memorial) like my husband did when he cut his hand, the staff was great to deal with.

The Abrams Falls trail was fantastic and we enjoyed a picnic lunch by the waterfalls. We had our last night's dinner at Trailhead Steak and Trout which I would recommend. There are a few others cabins on the property, all of which were vacant during out stay. I do think they are spread out enough to feel pretty private. All in all we enjoyed the property and our time on the Peaceful Side.
