We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It had everything we needed. We didnt even have to buy food for the cabin. 8 mins from Cornish which has several restaurants. The outdoor speakers and lighting is a nice feature. Plenty of firewood. Quiet neighborhood. Owner was very responsive.

Relaxing clean cabin to enjoy watching the river flow by and spending time reading, kayaking and enjoying the firepit at the river's edge. Although the outside temperature was about 90 degrees we were able to be cool enough inside with just the fans provided and really enjoyed the cabin.

Easier opening lockbox would be my only suggestion for improvement. Location was awesome!

What a wonderful cabin! The owner was very responsive and left excellent instructions for checkin and out. The cabin itself is amazing. The footprint is so well laid out. An excellent use of limited space. The water heater is amazing, as we never ran out of hot water. Skylights make the place seem even bigger. The river does run quite rapidly, so we didnt try the kayaks. If we had more time we would have. It was such a comfy and cozy place to stay. And we were able to take a daytrip to Mt. Washington from the cabin. Thanks for sharing your cabin.

Cute little cabin in the woods. Cornish is near with great restaurants. Near Portland, about a two hour drive from Boston. Enjoyed our stay.

Cabin is cute and clean but, the beds are not comfortable.

We thoroughly loved this little cabin! The setting was beautiful and the little marks left by previous guests was one of the highlights of the stay. My kids were already asking to return before we left and I'm hoping we can! Owners were terrific and readily available. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!!

My son (14) and I had a great stay at the cabin. The cabin was clean and well maintained, and there was plenty of space for the two of us. My son wanted to do some fishing (he caught a half dozen) and kayaking, so it was the perfect location, right on the Ossipee River. We used the tandem kayak at the cabin to explore the river on a few occasions. The area was quiet, peaceful and had a good amount of privacy. You can see a couple of the other cabins along the river, but they are spread out. I’m not sure if anyone was even at the cabin next to us. If they were, we did not see or hear them. It is a short drive to downtown Cornish and we had a great meal at Krista’s one evening (huge portions). We also got some tasty ice cream at Bobby Sue’s over in Freedom, NH. Great stay overall and would like to go back at some point.

I gave myself a little retreat to write, read and relax. The cabin was a great spot for doing those things.

Best trip and pocket of peacefulness we have ever stayed at. The pictures do not do the area justice—not sure anything can! You just have to go. Thank you for all the thoughtful details—firewood, rock painting, cozy blankets! We hope to be back!

We had a wonderful weekend in this cabin in the woods. It was a cozy clean log cabin. I would definitely say it was off the beaten path . Away from everything down a dirt road but close enough if you wanted to go hiking , shopping or a quick ride to the mountains. Right on the river if you want to just hang out and do some kayaking.

Teresa & Dan's cabin was the perfect place to unwind & celebrate my 40th birthday! They even left a "Happy Birthday" note & cupcakes that we were greeted with upon arriving which I thought was so kind! The cabin was clean & sufficiently stocked with cooking supplies which we appreciate as we like to eat in most of the time. The indoor/outdoor surround sound was a great extra! Overall we loved the place & our stay! We look forward to returning in the future when the weather is warmer to take advantage of the kayaks & the spend more time out by the river!

The wood stove and comfy recliner seats were perfect. Lots of pots, pans, and other cooking supplies as well as wood. We did day trips to North Conway and Portland. We loved the cabin, you can tell a lot of thought was put into it. Definitely would stay again!

The cabin is kept in excellent condition. The river view and the fireplace made this a perfect winter stay.

Even though it was too cold to make use of the river, we still had a great time glamping by the firepit, and taking daytrips into nearby areas for hikes with some nice waterfalls.

My wife and I were looking for relaxing getaway to celebrate our anniversary and this cabin did not disappoint. It has all the amenities of home strategically fit into a cozy cabin so we were able to do some cooking and stream our favorite shows. I enjoyed using the provided kayak to paddle along the river and making s’mores at the fire pit.

We only stayed a couple of nights, but we definitely wish we stayed longer. The cabin was beautiful, cozy and inviting. We will be coming back again, for sure.

This is a great little cabin! We came for peace and quiet and to hike. This property is right on the river with a dock for kayaking. Super clean and perfect for a couple. Great restaurants nearby. Teresa, the host, checked in on us to make sure all was well. We would definitely stay here again!

The house is well appointed with everything you need. We arrived on the last day of a heat wave and though the cabin has many windows for ventilation, it was hot. There were two portable fans there, thankfully we had packed a fan of our own and the 3 fans and a cold shower before bedtime kept us somewhat comfortable over night. The cabin is not to far from NH and Mt Washington, which is where we spent one of our days. It's also not too far from Portland. At night we enjoyed the back yard, listened to the creek and enjoyed the peace of the surrounds. Will definitely be back again next year

Situated perfectly to take full advantage of the river view with a smart use of the small inside space, the 4 of us really enjoyed our time at this cabin. Teresa and Dan were very welcoming and accommodating hosts. We especially loved being able to sit by a campfire and watching all of the little creatures who live outside. We hope to be back for another visit soon.

We came to Maine to get some downtime after a difficult couple of years. This cabin looked too good to be true when we found it online - but, it was exactly as advertised! The cabin was small and cozy, but equipped with everything we needed and laid out nicely. We enjoyed cooking both inside and out, sitting by the river, lovely campfires at night, the red squirrels and chipmunks, and even the whole house music system with our own calming tunes during our stay. We spent time in Freeport shopping and exploring and ate out in Cornish. We highly recommend the Bay Haven Lobster Pound and Sofia's Pizza! Our host, Teresa, was a joy to work with and always promptly responded to our questions. We highly recommend this lovely and serene cabin!! Thanks to Teresa and Dan for offering this beautiful place for our rejuvenation!

It was perfect. Beautiful little cabin in the woods on the shore of the Ossipee river. Kayak provided by the owners to go out on the river. Nice fire pit and plenty of fire wood. It’s a quiet relaxing place. Read a book by the fire have some wine and cheese and crackers and just relax. It was a perfect getaway

Cheap screen door not effective at keeping mosquitoes out. No curtains to offer privacy from campers across river. Dock not installed so there was no safe access to river for fishing. Previous guest rubbish not picked up and raccoons made a mess of the place. Walking in front of cabin, day or night is dangerous, too many roots and such.

Quiet, cozy cabin along the Ossipee river. Easy access to fish the river, swim etc. The fire ring outside is a plus. several lakes nearby. Exploring the nearby towns is a must, lots of well kept older homes. Maine was beautiful in late April, imagine what it would look like in the fall. Renting this cabin is way better than any hotel. Enjoyed our time there. Would do it again for sure.

The property is off road and peaceful. There was a blanket of snow with the running river that had occasional ice floating down it. There is a never ending supply of adventure in the White Mountains and Mt. Washington.
