We stayed here because we were heading to St. Michael's Mount fairly early the next morning. The hotel and pub are located in a harbor area, and the surroundings look a bit rough around the edges. However, there was a lovely walk along the water towards Penzance, where we enjoyed a delicious pizza from a food truck while looking out over the sea. We finished our meal with an ice cream from S. Jelbert's, highly recommended! We went to bed early, as we were exhausted from our road trip, and the noise from the pub didn't bother us at all. Breakfast the next morning was delicious! Wonderful, fluffy scrambled eggs and great coffee, served by a super friendly hostess.

We are from the Netherlands and are quite tall, so the low ceiling in the room wasn't exactly convenient for us. We bumped our hands against the ceiling and the light fixture a few times.

Lovely old inn with character , room was clean and functional , breakfast was lovely freshly cooked and served by very friendly staff it’s a quirky place with history which adds to it’s charm

I wasn’t sure where to park when I arrived but was fortunate to be able to to park right outside the door but I believe there is a short stay car park in the area

Location was good. Beds were comfortable, towels were lovely, and facilities generally okay.

The decor is quite tired and furniture is very dated. We stayed on two occasions, and in both rooms it was very noisy. One overlooked the outside seating area and even on a Sunday evening at midnight there were rowdy locals shouting and singing, smashing glass etc. The front room was quieter, but we had to shut the window to reduce the noise of the air conditioning unit. It was very hot and there was no fridge in the room, the small fan provided was pathetic and dirty.
