Parador de Mazagón

Very nice hotel in a perfect location overlooking the sea. The buildings aren't as old and characterful as the other Paradores we have visited, but the facilities, service and food are everything you would expect. The pool was lovely to swim in. Our room looked out over the gardens, pool and sea, and we enjoyed sitting on the terrace and looking at the view. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. We were disappointed that we were only staying one night.

Main restaurant was underwhelming. Nice food but not as upmarket as the location might suggest There was even a charge for the car park added - that was penny pinching

Great service. Fabulous restaurant for dinner. Good breakfast. Lovely pool. Great sea views. Nice room. A/C didn’t work 1st night but engineer sorted it the next day.

Restaurant & cafeteria were not good at all. The food served was not up to the standard of the Parador network. Heating system is centrally managed and it was way too hot for us but there was no way to cool down the room. So we slept in a 27 degrees room because the heating could not be reduced.
