Bowl Inn

Lovely village location. Community shop, church and some nice short walks to build an appetite for dinner. Great location for access to the motorway and attractions for a nice weekend away. The Inn was warm and welcoming. Staff were attentive and personable. Dog friendly and welcoming to all. Food was excellent. Ideally a few more options for non meat eaters would be nice, but for a short weekend the choices were sufficient to offer a different choice each day. Breakfast was excellent and the eggs Benedict was one of the nicest examples I've had in a while. Illy coffee is also my fav and I was glad to see it used throughout. Will definitely be booking another visit.

Good breakfast and nice location

Very friendly and engaging staff made my stay very enjoyable. I stayed at The Bowl on business and enjoyed the ambience of the bar, along with the very substantial breakfast. My room was clean, well provisioned and very cosy. Highly recommended.

It’s very conveniently placed, just off the M5. Parking is easy and the village is quite pleasant. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is good and well priced.

The Bowl Inn is desperate for a refurb. It doesn’t create a good impression of where you are going to sleep that night to walk over horribly stained carpets in the corridors. Our ‘deluxe room’ was small and clean, the bed was comfortable, but the shower room was again very tired and rather scruffy.
